IS Eclipse

IS Eclipse is a REACH-compliant industrial ceramic coating engineered for surfaces operating under demanding conditions.

Formulated with high solids polysiloxane chemistry and graphene reinforcement, IS Eclipse delivers 10H hardness, high chemical agent resistance (CARC) and durable hydrophobic performance across machinery, equipment and structural surfaces.

IS Eclipse is a 2-layer system. Apply it by HVLP spray, brush or roller; it is wipe on and leave, with no buffing or levelling required. Consumption is approximately 1-5 ml/m².

What’s improved in the 2026 formulation

The 2026 formulation adds graphene reinforcement for measured improvements to surface smoothness and chemical resistance. Measured results from standardised test methods, against the previous formulation:

• Scrub resistance (ASTM D2486): 5,000 cycles, up from 2,000 (a 150% improvement)
• Cap slip angle: 17.34°, down from 25.17° (a 31% improvement)
• Water drop slip angle: 22.88°, down from 24.88° (8% more hydrophobic surface)
• Water contact angle: 101°, up from 89.91° (sessile drop method, distilled water on cured coating)
• Chemical challenge (ASTM D1308): high chemical agent resistance (CARC), and improved MEK resistance over the previous formulation

Unchanged: the 2-layer system, waterspot resistance (1% MgSO4) and the flammable classification (dangerous goods).

IS Eclipse cross-links and fully cures to 10H on the pencil scale, increasing the hardness of the surface. It resists abrasion, micro-marring and surface degradation across treated industrial substrates.

Its hydrophobic surface is self-cleaning, cutting cleaning effort significantly compared to uncoated substrates. Maintenance needs only neutral pH cleaners (pH 3-9).
